GENERAL RENTAL CONDITIONS

 

Every rented apartment has its own landlord for renting during the season. The landlord places responsibility for the payments in the hands of

RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS
A reservation can only be assured after receipt of a deposit and a letter of confirmation. In case of cancellation the deposit will be kept.

PRICE LIST
The price of renting, administration and stipulated in the contract are as follows:

  • The rental of the apartment as described in your letter of confirmation.
  • The cost of heating, hot and cold water and electricity.
  • Cleaning after your departure, except the kitchen and dishes

ADDITIONAL EXPENSES
As well as the price of renting, the tenant has to pay the renting of linen (if need them) and holiday tax (1€/day/adult).

INVENTORY OF FIXTURES AND FITTINGS
The inventory of fixtures and fittings is made by the agency before the arrival of the tenant. All complaints regarding the inventory should report to the agency within one working day. The tenant is expected to leave the apartment in good condition (especially the kitchen area). The tenant is presumed to have received everything in good condition as checked by the agent, unless proved otherwise (article 1731 civil code)

GUARANTEE - DEPOSIT FROM 300 € TO 1000 €
A deposit is taken to cover any damage to fixtures and fitting of the rented accommodation together with any other charger a curred during you stay. The deposit will only be used if it is necessary to replace anything or repair any damage in order to restore the accommodation to the original condition.

OBLIGATIONS OF TENANT

  • Leave everything as you found it, the day you arrived.
  • Only use the residence as a temporary holiday home, not for commercial or professional use.
  • Do not disturb your neighbours
  • For sole occupier of the tenant. All subletting is forbidden, no animals unless with special permission from the Agence. Respect the rules of the apartment block.
  • Allow urgent or necessary works to be done
  • The contents of apartment will only suffer depreciation of normal use, including wall hangings, wallpaper, paint work, carpet…

Any damage discovered after the tenant has left will be made good by the deposit. The tenant is not allowed to introduce other furniture or extra heating appliances

WELCOME AND INFORMATION
The agency AID is open from 9.00 am to 12.30 am and from 14.00 pm to 19.00 pm (every day during the season),75 Gallery Marchande, Place des Dromonts -Avoriaz 74100.

KEYS IN WINTER
ARRIVAL: after getting to Avoriaz by road, collect the keys at the welcome information building up to the resort (information point), on Saturday (permanent of the Agence from 14.00 pm to 19.00 pm) A.I.D desk. Telephone the agency if your arrival is any different.
DEPARTURE: return the keys to AID agency at the bottom of the resort, before 10.00 am without fail.
Always warn us by telephone if you are going to be late or anticipate departure.

RESPONSIBILITY
The owner and his agent declare all responsibility in care of theft or burglary in the rented accommodation.
All difficulties or litigation being overseen during the present contract of the Tribunal of Thonon Les Bains

PAYMENT
Establishment accepts payment of sums due by cheque signed with your name, made out to A.I.D or bankcard.
In his quality of membership from a management office, approve by tax administration (decree n°79-639 from 27 July)

SAVE TIME WHEN YOU ARRIVE BY PREPARING

  • Bankcard/cash or cheque made our to A.I.D. for amount of the rental
  • The check or bankcard  for the deposit
  • The check or cash for the tax holiday (1€)

TAXES
Municipal tax holiday: 1  € per person over 16 years per night. Payable by separate cheque made out to TRESOR PUBLIC or cash.
Renting of bed linen: if you order in a devance it will be delivered to your apartment before your arrival:

  • 18 € single kit
  • 22 € double kit
  • 15 € cot (under 2 years)
